WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around D.C.) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy:
- Washingtonian spent some quality time at Merriweather’s parking lot during its annual M3 festival.
- WMATA has debuted a three year plan to repair 20 outdoor Metro stations and I really don’t see this ending well.
- The Dabney’s very own Jeremiah Langhorne takes home a James Beard award.
- And speaking of awards, the Kennedy Center has revoked two from Bill Cosby.
- Grab these cheap as hell Amtrak tickets before they’re gone.
- Are phones ruining museums?
- Washingtonian has a helpful (if you need a very specific kind of help) graphic that shows you whether to buy from Amazon or Politics & Prose. I don’t know why we pretend that’s the only local bookstore in D.C.
- Capital Bikeshare is expanding into PG County for all you folks stuck in the suburbs.
- Look out Anxo, a new cidery is coming into town.
- PSA of the Day: Don’t bring a loaded gun to an airport. Especially if that gun is hot pink.
