WHEREIN: We bring you the developments (happening in and around D.C.) that we think are newsworthy, or, at the very least, almost newsworthy:
- You’ve read the Post’s Spring Dining Guide, right?
- A tractor trailer full of bees crashed on the Capital Beltway and oh my god that sounds like the beginning to a horror movie.
- For the reasonable price of $70,000, you can own a patch of grass in one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city!
- Wonder Woman 2 will be filming in an abandoned mall in Alexandria. This sounds like something a first year film student would do to be “edgy” but I’m into it regardless.
- Construction on Merriweather’s roof is complete just in time for M3.
- City Paper has a great feature on the local podcasts hosted and created by people of color.
- Kelly Towles, one of D.C.’s favorite muralists, talks about his dream day in D.C. There’s a lot of good restaurants involved and we 100% approve.
- Silver Spring gets two new Mexican restaurants and they look killer.
- A colonial reenactment farm (is that a phrase? Did that make sense) is fighting the National Parks Service to stay open.
- DC Refined has a nice lists of books to read this Spring, just in case you have a little spare time this weekend.
