In case you didn’t know, Mother’s Day is Sunday and if there’s anything D.C. loves more than complaining about WMATA, it’s mamas. This is a day where you should appreciate your mother and treat her to something nice, whether that be brunch, a spa treatment, or a show. She deserves this because she has done things you couldn’t even imagine, and this is truly the least you could do. Grab some flowers, something edible, a one of a kind gift, anything, and make her feel like pushing a football out of her was worth it. If your mom is your mom and she didn’t do that, give her even more gifts. What I’m saying here is, if this person is referred to as your mom, she deserves a day all about her. Also, don’t be an idiot and please make reservations. Don’t make your mom feel like she raised an idiot.
