- and just around the corner the Heurich House – there is a showing of maybe the greatest comedy ever made SOME LIKE IT HOT. For free. Bring your own blanket and picnic.
- AFI premieres “A BAND CALLED DEATH” a documentary about the first ever (EVER) punk band. BONUS: Win tickets to it HERE. (if you miss it-no worries, it will be in rotation all next week too)
- DC Shorts hosts another edition of their PASTIES AND POPCORN

- City Bikes turns 25 and they are going to Party Like It’s 1988! Head on down to their Adams Morgan location and witness a four floor takeover of epic proportions which will include 80’s style bands (Like Oh My God), DJ’s, bike portraits, slinky races, AND MORE!
- this is the LAST WEEKEND of SOURCE FESTIVAL, so make sure you checked it out.
- ALSO-MOVIES: THE HEAT and WHITE HOUSE DOWN are the 2 big movies opening this week (full reviews in the FILM SECTION come Friday) but also we would like to recommend: WORLD WAR Z, THE BLING RING, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, THE ATTACK and all sorts of other great films, big and small out now. All the reviews and recommendations and everything RIGHT HERE.
