The District hails a variety of people.. from the young, to the beautiful, to the intelligent and all thats in between. These unique people bring a vast variety of style and fashion that ultimately fuel the culture of the district.This column is here to document the unique style of the amazing individuals who walk the city streets..as the great Alexander McQueen said himself, “It’s a new era in fashion – there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together.”

Oxfords, Polo, Sperry’s and Ray-Bans, way to do “Americana” the right way! His traditional preppy look of button down Oxford cloth shirts and boat shoes were made for each other.
As the weather gets hot it really allows people to showcase a new creativity with their clothes. No longer dressing for warmth you have endless options. What a unique way to wear a bow tie, plus you can’t ignore that awesome hunter green vest.
Black and cobalt blue made for a really fun and flirty leather jacket, plus these two colors hit the runway as a major trend this year. Can’t forget the classic black booties that were definitely the go-to shoe for the season.
What can I say? There’s nothing about this outfit that is not eye-catching. His plaid shirt and chained plaid pants made for a notably stylish pair.
Loved her one of a kind vintage dress, plus the pickle pin (Illustrated by a local artist Elizabeth Graeber) on her collar added a fun and quirky touch to her outfit!
He wouldn’t tell me who made his pants, but he would say they are from somewhere in Japan. Regardless, whoever the designer was, they had some serious skills.
Too much color in their outfits made for just the perfect amount as we bridge the gap between winter and spring. Way to turn heads on the D.C. city streets this week.
