There is no doubt that the District will never be a Paris, Milan, Berlin or NYC. But we have to give credit where credit is due. The District hails a variety of people from the young to the beautiful, to the intelligent and all that’s in between. These unique people bring a vast variety of style and fashion that ultimately fuel the culture of the District. This column is here to document the unique style of the amazing individuals who walk the city streets. As the great Alexander McQueen said himself, “It’s a new era in fashion – there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together.”

Besides the fact this stylish couple is matching, their cuffed pants and tan-colored oxfords really stood out. Loved the baby blue laces as well; perfect way to add a unique touch to any pair of shoes!

The simple men’s outfit of a white shirt and jeans can really be spruced up with the right accessories. His vest, necklace, frames and backpack all stood out just enough to turn this simple outfit into a stylish ensemble.

Loved her white and black ensemble! The lightness of her Chiffon shirt and ripped jeans really made for a great springtime transitioning look. Reminiscent of jewelry in the ’80s, her gold link chain necklace and bracelet added the perfect finishing touches.

GQ anyone?! This outfit is a great example of how to be stylish from head to toe. His boater hat, motorcycle jacket, vintage baby blue tee and frames plus his cuffed jeans really made for a stylish ensemble.

Another great way for a lady to rock a fedora! Super feminine and boho chic, I really liked her fitted top and flowing skirt. Check her magazine out here!

And last but not least, we found the coolest Cindo De Mayo Sombrero! Hope you all had a great one.
