Radiator Biergarten
On Saturday, September 22, Radiator will open a new biergarten on their patio and celebrate some classic Oktoberfest traditions. There will be outdoor fire pits, cornhole and life-sized Connect Four, as well as German food and of course, beers.
Tiki TNT
This November, Todd Thrasher (local mixologist of Restaurant Eve, Bar PX and more) is opening the Potomac Distilling Company and Tiki TNT, a new rum bar. In preparation he will be hosting three pop-ups at Archipelago on September 17, September 24, and October 1, where guests can sample his rum-centric beverages.
New Menus
Blue Duck Tavern
Starting on October 7th, Blue Duck Tavern is offering new three-course tableside tea service. The tea menu, which will be available exclusively on Sunday afternoons, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, includes items like tea sandwiches, scones and chocolate mousse. Tea service begins on Sunday, October 7 and is priced at $65 per adult.

A Georgian wine tasting at Supra
There’s nothing better than a free event, especially when it involves alcohol. Head to Supra this Tuesday, September 18 for a free wine tasting featuring a rosé, an amber, and a red.

Tyber Creek is celebrating National Braai Day
A braai is a South African BBQ, and National Braai Day is Sunday, September 23. Braai Day is a national holiday in South Africa marked with the waving of flags, gathering around fires and the celebration of a shared heritage despite race, religion, or region of origin. Tyber Creek has partnered with Alyssa Wolf of Red Wolf Imports & Global Wines to offer a tasting menu and history of South African food, wine and culture.
First ever AdMo food crawl
Carpe DC Food Tours, which we reviewed here, is hosting the first annual Flavors of AdMo Food Crawl on September 29, 2018. Tickets are $79 per person, and include one tasting at six locations: El Tamarindo, Federalist Pig, Le Pop, NiceCream, BUL and Zenebech. Plus, vegetarian options are available! Once you check-in, you will get a wristband and a passport with a map to redeem your tastings, which include items like pumpkin toast, pupusas, and handcrafted ice cream.
