In this column we cover songs for you to nod your head to in the EDM scene [electronic dance music, not extra dancey music, for those not in the know].

Gorgon City “Ready For Your Love” feat. MNEK

In my last Crossfade, I talked about Gorgon City–I can now comfortably state that this will be THE record of 2014. This is yet another scorcher from UK house duo Gorgon City, an exclusive track they shared on BBC Radio’s Zane Lowe show. Last year, their track Real peaked at #44 on the UK Chartslook for them to storm the charts this year with this kind of strong output.

Flight Facilities “Crave You” (TEEMID & Daniela Andrade Cover)

The original of this lovely tune has been a veritable remix “dripping in gold,” treasure trove. TEEMID‘s mix is percussively driven and simply beautiful. Download this head-turning remix now.

Karma Kid “Feel Like I Am On Fire” (Kartell Remix)

Serious choon! This is some insane garage (and I don’t mean the place where you park your car) by French maestro Kartell.
Cam’ron & A-Trak “Humphrey”
A track off A-Trak‘s upcoming Federal Reserve EP and who doesn’t need more Cam’ron in his/her life? Yeah, that’s what I thought.
Destiny’s Child “Bug A Boo (Borneland Remix)

An absolutely infectiously catchy of the original annoying-bugger-blow-off anthem, complete with endearing references to AOL Mail. All 90s R&b anthem lovers–take note.
