Cirque Du Soleil has transformed the Capital One Arena into an ice palace. Crystal (which started touring in 2017) is their first show on ice, and the combination of figure skating, aerial acrobatics, extreme skating, tap, juggling and even more feats of pure wonder (including a little bit of hockey) is just as breathtaking as it sounds.
And that doesn’t even dive into the other fantastical elements. The projections and music gave it all an Alice and Wonderland vibe, making you feel as if you’ve crossed over into another world. Between the set design and the pure athletic ability on display it’s a reminder that Cirque is still the absolute best at what they do.
