- The Hideout hosts the Chicago edition of What A Joke, a nationwide comedy festival benefitting the ACLU.
- B-Fest up in Evanston is a 24 hour film festival honoring some of the finest bad movies ever made!
- It’s day two of the Chicago International Puppet Theater Fest and there’s all sorts of whimsical/dark/etc. feats of puppetic strength awaiting you!
- Matt Ulery’s Loom and Matt Ulery’s Pollinator play a pair of modern jazz sets at Constellation for all you jazz heads out there.
- The Resistance Party at the Empty Bottle hosts music from Baby Money & The Down Payments, The Cell Phones, Natalie Grace Alford, and more!
- Yoga In The Sky is a wild yoga event held up on the sky deck of the Sears (SEARS!!!!!!!) Tower. Damn! Stretch slowly way up high, y’all!
- Matt Focht and the Faders, Contorno, and The Hot Moms play Beat Kitchen.
- Catch a screening of modern trash classic The Room at the Music Box!
