  • If something called Wrigleyville Summerfest sounds like fun for you, please go and have a good time!
  • Girls Rock! Chicago’s weekly Summercamp graduation show goes up this morning at Thalia Hall.
  • Hot Dog Fest at the Chicago History Museum continues today!
  • The backyard of the Sportsman’s Club has three concurrent pop up shops happening, including brunch from Sauce and Bread Kitchen, coffee from Dark Matter, and beer from Middle Brow Beer Co.
  • Burger kings Kuma’s Corner has been around for 10 beautiful years, and today they celebrate with a ton of heavy tunes from bands like The Skull, Spirit Caravan, Plague Bringer, Thee Arthur Layne, and CZAR.
  • Hoof it Northwise up to the next state up, for Michigan’s Longest Garage Sale, an annual event that stretches across 200 miles along the US-12 Heritage Trail. So many deals!
  • The first of three events in the backyard of the Experimental Sound Studio as a part of the Summersonic 2015 concert series happens today, with music from Dead Rider, Spires That In The Sunset Rise, and Bruce Lamont.
  • Pilsen record shop Pinwheel Records celebrates their grand opening today with special surprises happenin throughout the day!
  • A whole buttload of ska bands are playing at the Double Door all day today as a part of Midwest Ska Fest 2015. Go and skank til you can’t skank no more.
  • Check out Serb Fest, happening right off the I-90 near O’Hare for the best Serbian food, music, and culture Chicago has to offer.
  • The Chicago South Side Maker Faire celebrates all things creative and hands-on, with their annual event at the Ford City Mall.
  • The second annual Pints in the Parks event in Highland, IN goes down all day today, offering up tons of craft beer and nice wine for you to try!
  • The beautiful Chicago Botanic Garden has a very fun and cool looking kite festival, with kite flying demonstrations and kite making tutorials for all those interested in the art of kite-ing.
