  • Deeper and Flasher are two very good rock bands that are sharing a double bill at Township.

  • Emporium Wicker Park has a special tour homecoming show for Cafe Racer, with sets from their freinds in GOSH and Jawleez.
  • Check out a special advance screening of The Lost City of Z, the latest film from acclaimed director James Gray, tonight at the Music Box!
  • The Hideout’s got This Saxophone Kills Fascists, a jumbo-sized ensemble fronted by Arrington de Dionyso. Guests include Andrew Clinkiman, Curt Oren, and wrtch.
  • Head over to the Empty Bottle to take in sets from MACABRE, Brain Tentacles, and Wild Jesus & The Devil’s Lettuce.
  • The Chicago Songwriters Circle, part II, features acts like James Zarembski, Surfer Moon, Hugo Reyes, One Trick Tony, and Randall T Featherstone sharing their songcraft tonight at Quenchers.
  • Smartbar’s weekly dance party Queen! celebrates DJ Ralphi Rosario’s birthday with a total blowout, with sets from Ralphi, DJ Abel Aguilera aka Rosabel, Michael Serafini, and Garrett David.
  • Look, it’s Easter. We haven’t talked about it yet but it is. The Chicago Athletic Association Hotel’s got a nice brunch for you if you’re looking for something like that.
