Not too long ago, MTV announced that they’re rebooting my favorite television show of all time, Daria. I’m definitely skeptical. MTV is also planning to bring back Æon Flux as a live-action series. I’m even more skeptical about that. Not to mention the Rocko’s Modern Life reboot, the new Carmen Sandiego Netflix show, and the potential Hey Arnold! reboot, among countless others. The point is: the 90s were the golden age of animation, and no modern day reboot of any of those shows could come close to capturing the magic of the original. Instead, here are some products to get you feeling nostalgic for the good ol’ days of cartoons.

Classic, Black Dr. Martens, $170

I could have done an entire Daria themed article. There’s a lot of great merch out there. After all, the credits gave us a lot to work with. But at the end of the day, I decided to go with the most classic item I could think of. Dr. Marten’s are any teenage cynic’s ultimate weapon. Daria was no different.

Metallica Tee, $29.99 and AC/DC Tee, $35

Before there was Daria, there was Beavis and Butt-Head. Embrace your inner Cornholio with their classic band shirts.

Sailor Moon Makeup Brushes, $13.99

Unfortunately, we can’t all be magical soldier girls defending the planets, but these makeup brushes can make us feel pretty damn close.

Rocko’s Modern Life Triangle Shirt, $34.99

You’ve always wanted to dress like an anthropomorphic wallaby, and you know it.

Reptar Hi-Top Sneakers, $39.90

When I was younger, my mom didn’t let me watch Rugrats because she was worried I would turn out bratty like Angelica. I watched it anyway. These shoes are cool. Plus, they’re from Hot Topic, which will really bring you back.

Banjo, $154.95

Doug makes the banjo look really freaking cool. Don’t tell me you haven’t wanted to play one of these since the show.

Krumm Sweater, $24.99

This is one of the weirdest pieces of merch I’ve ever seen. I really don’t have much more to say about it.
