Do some daytime stuff:

• One of the Cherry Blossom Festivals highlights is today on the Mall: Blossom Kite Festival .

• Take in a ballet matinee at the Kennedy Center with Hamburg Ballet: John Neumeier’s The Little Mermaid. That suits this week’s theme.
