Hey everyone! This week’s edition BEST WEEKEND BETS is, as always, hand selected from BYT ALL CITY and carefully calibrated for maximum fun and minimum stress, and will be punctuated with inspirational images of the seminal, absurdist teen comedy about skiing and foreign exchange students and boiled bacon, BETTER OFF DEAD, which is about to get a BLU-RAY re-release (yay) AND is, imo, the original hipster movie (as we recognize them today), which should come in handy this Saturday. NOW-I WANT MY 2 DOLLARS.
PSAs before we start
- we have 2 events this weekend: FAMILY HEMERLEIN tonight and HIPSTER (summer) CAMP pool party on Saturday. As always, we hope to see you at one if not at both.

- THEN-the biggest small party in town tonight is SHORTS, the one night only return of the no-shorts-no-service-ballpit-crunkcakes-Spin Doctors-Gavin Holland-DURKL extravaganza which is bound to burn ASYLUM down right before they close. We will be running an instructive/PSA photo post at 10:30 AM. WATCH OUT FOR IT.
