Good morning BYFriends! We’re incredibly excited to announce that one of our favorite events is back and looking better than ever. Not to mention, we are the official media partners!
Zoofari: Dine for Wildlife returns to the Smithsonian’s National Zoo on May 18 for a night of good eats, fun drinks and cute animals. Zoofari is all about celebrating D.C.’s rich and diverse culinary culture while supporting one of the District’s most important features, our robust and essential Zoo.
Over 100 of D.C.’s best restaurants (which pretty much guarantees your favorites will be there) will be slinging delicious bites and drinks, but there will also be live (and silent!) auctions as well as meet and greets with certain animals including the naked mole-rat and much more. Of course, the National Zoo will also be open for perusing, including the Small Mammal House, the Great Ape House and the Reptile Discovery Center. There will also be some fun live entertainment floating around, just in case everything we listed about isn’t enough for you.
Because you’re a cool BYT reader and we cherish your sweet sweet page views more than anything, we have a very special offer for you. If you use the code BYTzoofood this week you’ll get $20 off your tickets, which is probably a better deal than you’ll see anywhere else. See you there, guys!
