Hey Campers, This Is NOT A Normal Summer Camp!

As the oppressive summer heat gives way to the crisp air of fall, we’re lacing up our hiking boots with the Smithsonian American Arts Museum and following the trail to our last museum after hours party of 2019, End-Of-Summer Camp!

If you’re over 21, have your parents/landlord/employer drop you off at the beautiful Kogod Courtyard and get ready for an exclusive after-hours party with all the fun of your childhood summer camp, without any of the awkwardness of being a child!

A DJ set from DC’s own Summer Camp!
This party is more than just the perfect day at camp – we’re giving you unfettered, tourist-free access to the exhibition American Myth & Memory: David Levinthal Photographs!
Populated with toy cowboys and cavalry, Barbie dolls and baseball players, David Levinthal’s photographs reference iconic images and events that shaped postwar American society.
