We’re pleased to premiere the new album from MODOC. When he heard the first single, “Black Eyed Lover,” we immediately reached out for the album premiere. Part the best aspects of The Walkmen (think “The Rat), Brendan Benson (he produced the record) and The Faces (especially when there’s an acoustic guitar), the record has a feel that spans decades without pandering to nostalgia.
The Nashville band only has Tennessee tour dates for the next few months but don’t be surprised if you see them on multiple outdoor summer festivals. They have an approachable, easy-to-enjoy-without-prior-knowledge sound that would be good for Lollapalooza and Landmark.
