The longtime Columbia Heights bar/restaurant/music venue recently unveiled a ridiculously scrumptious new food and cocktail menu worth every last calorie. (Trust us.) From Cognac cocktails to veggie flatbread with seared okra — this place is so much more than beer and low country BBQ. Don’t believe me? Stop by Acre 121 from October 21-25 for a tasting FEAST and sample three new entrees for just $35. Hanger Steak: Grilled hanger steak topped with blue cheese and German potato salad.
Cognac 75: Cognac, lemon, sugar, bitters and champagne
Oysters on the Half Shell: Fresh shucked local oysters, house made cocktail sauce, seasonal mignonette lemon, + tabasco.
Grilled Shrimp: Corn remoulade, andouille sausage.
Roasted Corn Dip: Spicy pimento Cheese with cornbread.
Grilled Peach & Smoked Avocado Salad: Arugula, manchego cheese, chopped apricots, + lemon verbena vinaigrette.
Pulled Pork Sliders: Mustard BBQ sauce topped with coleslaw.
Standing Rib Roast: Bone-in pork, coffee rubbed, smoked in almond wood, with bourbon peach chutney.
Veggie Flatbread: Seared okra, roasted corn, and red onion marmalade.
Carolina Crullers: Twisted fried doughnut with raspberry chocolate sauce.
