If you haven’t got tickets to our sold out Parks & Recreation Series Finale Party at the Howard Theatre tonight, you only have yourself to blame. So, way to pull a Gergich, Jerry! It’s a night of Lil’ Sebastian tributes, Swanson-stache contests, breakfast for dinner, waffles and Snake JuiceTM.
We’ve been prepping for over a month to properly say goodbye – not only to one of the greatest sitcoms ever created – but to the good people of Pawnee, Indiana. And its those people who populate the fictional universe of Parks & Recreation which push a good show into a great show. Much like The Simpsons with its townspeople of Springfield, ‘Parks & Rec’ made us fall in love with dozens of recurring characters – not the least of which is Joan Callamezzo, perhaps America’s greatest Pawneean.
Callamezzo is played by the ridiculously talented Mo Collins (MADtv) who has brought one of television’s greatest characters to life with the drunken colorful host of Pawnee Today.
