The next round of Bandcamp Friday (where the platform directs 100% of sales to the artists) isn’t happening again until July 3rd, but if you purchase music on Juneteenth (this Friday) your money will still be going to a good cause; from midnight to midnight PT they’re donating 100% of their share of sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, a racial justice organization with a long history of effectively enacting change through litigation, advocacy, and public education. They’ve also said they’re committed to doing this every Juneteenth from here on out, and that they will allocate an additional $30,000 per year to partner with organizations that fight for racial justice and create opportunities for people of color.

Here’s a living Google Doc ft. 1800+ Black producers, artists and labels to support anytime via Bandcamp, but even more so when the platform waives its fees to directly benefit the artists and/or racial justice organizations.

Remember, midnight to midnight PT (aka 3am to 3am ET) on Friday June 19th (and Friday July 3rd) you can make your music purchases count even more. Set an alarm and let’s go.
