This is a good and classy aperitif, and all it takes is good vermouth and orange bitters.


  • 1 1/2 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 1/2 oz dry vermouth
  • 2 dashes orange bitters

Stir ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.  As this is almost all vermouth, use a good one like Vya or Punt e Mes. Or at the very least Cinzano or Noilly Prat.
