1. Wiz Khalifa – Kid Frankie

Song is perfect for a drive through the city or any activity coupled with mind elevation; I especially love Wiz’ anti-blunt sentiment which I also share and hold dear to my heart. Also, Wiz is of the dope new crop of emcees that experiment with production choices as well as lyrical stylings. I think its ubiquitously understood that the sweet glass that is the real star of the video.

2. deadmau5 & Kaskade – I remember

There is a ton of dialogue in this video which would usually be a bad thing but Stephen Graham’s “10 Commandments of Proper Raving” is well worth the suspension of sound. The song itself is a perfect soundtrack to graceful hedonism. Commandment 6, “reject the mainstream” proves a bit odd considering that both deadmau5 and Kaskade are considered mainstream/pop in much of the dance music community. This record makes me think of marathon make-outs in Miami (alliteration not intended).
