I have to say I’m most excited to see Girl Talk. Considering it’s been 2 years since his last time through the District, it’s sure to be a sick show. And with an album like All Day, 9:30 Club is sure to be rockin’ both nights!

I’m real excited to see Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. I missed the epic Halloween Zoo concert and they’re getting dangerously close to mainstream (might be too late). The hipster in me won’t travel to Merriweather or Verizon Center so I get one last chance to see them be cool before they get uncool with fame.

I’m most excited for Lady Gaga. I saw her through her first tour around. Her original show @ 9:30 club was canceled and then rescheduled for Constitution Hall. She puts on an amazing live show. She’s a great artist, great musician. She is a true entertainer.

i’m most excited for the house show i’m going to convince robyn to play when i tell her how i was her for halloween and she’s all flattered and slightly creeped out. i’m only going to invite cool people who knew who i was dressed as and all the punks who were like that’s so weirddd you’re wearing a white wig and a fembot necklace are going to have to go to a shoegaze concert instead because this one will be for DANCING only.

The Slackers will be at the Rock and Roll Hotel in April. They have an extensive catalog of records I was seriously attached to a couple of years ago, and I can’t wait to hear whatever they choose to play. Seeing them live will be like going to my pre-recession college days…

I’m most excited to see: Robyn w/ Diamond Rings. Robyn is amazing by herself but with Diamond Rings it is a MUST see. The Diamond Rings album is amazing androgenous one man synth pop. The Pogues would be pretty cool too. They wrote the best x-mas song ever, “Fairytale of New York”.
