This Friday, DC’s favorite koozie-slinging rock and roll quartet, Modern Man, is playing the Black Cat mainstage. Fresh off their first trip to Merriweather as part of this year’s Sweet Life Fest lineup, they’re sounding loud and feisty. They’ll be bringing oversized tube amps, a van’s worth of electric guitars and a penchant for melodic shouting. We’ve also been given inside information that there may be precisely 100 limited-edition red koozies that will be given out that night…but you’re going to have to get there very early to snag one.

I’d rather have my hands wet with the sweat of summer love trickling down my fingers than the can sweat of beer; thankfully, a koozie could prevent me from confusing the perspiration from passion with the perspiration of a sweating alcoholic beverage.
Koozies have already changed my life as well. At the beach, not only do they keep my beer cool longer, but a koozie makes the can or bottle less likely to tip over in the sand. Stability? Priceless.

Out of work, out of money, and my year long boyfriend as of this week is now an ex; but no worries as I am not out of beer.
