#AskGrace: What to Take Away from Grace Coddington’s Twitter Takeover + NEW BOOK “GRACE”

Swearing is generally against the rules, but when you’re an elegant 71-year-old lady, it’s totally endearing. ”They were like, ‘Oh, can’t say that, oh, you can’t say that, and it’s not politically correct to say that, and don’t swear.’ But I swear like a trooper.”

LOOKBOOK: Australian designer Celeste Tesoriero has debuted her self-titled label with an AW13 collection titled ‘Riders on the storm’. (via)

‘Riders on the Storm’ was initially influenced by paintings from the 1800s of battles at sea. Tempered waves, cannon smoke, planks of wood, shredded sails, flames and treasures sinking to the mysteries of the ocean depths. Hand cut leather is appliqued on quilted classic denim, silk linen is printed with vintage revolvers, and military influences are suggestive of romance and innocence. The palette explores interesting fusions such as neon orange with sorbet blue, and soft pink with olive green.
