The Washington Ballet’s Jete Society celebrates the world premiere of Septime Webre’s Alice (in wonderland)! Go inside ALICE’S WONDERLAND with The Washington Ballet’s preview in their intimate England Studio Theatre. Following the rehearsal you can grab a beer and talk one-on-one with The Washington Ballet dancers at a catered reception in the Fannie Mae Gallery.

Wes Anderson takes on YOUNG LOVE + THE SUMMERTIME in his much anticipated film Moonrise Kingdom, which opens the 65th Cannes Film Festival on May 16th. Damsel in distress meets warrior princess! That meet pretty much sums it up. Kristin Stewart moves from vamp to woodland [heroine] in this dark-er adaptation of Grimm’s Snow White fairytale. It’s not hard with a wardrobe that mixes leathers with clamps, armor, and a few medieval dresses for good sake. Colleen Atwood talks to Seventeen Magazine about Snow White and the Huntsman “a less princess-y and more of a bad-ass girl.” Check out the behind-the-scenes footage on the official website.
