BYT has joined forces with Amber Mahoney of The Present Company Project to create ShopGirls on Film — a column featuring DC’s creative minds. In preparation for Fashion’s Night Out (and because we’ve already spouted our love with inspirational playlists and videos), this month’s theme is FASHION.

Meet Katerina and Cathy of Treasury, a DC concept boutique that joins an appreciation for the historical with the quest for modern beauty.

At Treasury you can find anything from clothing to lifestyle items, perfect for women, men and children. Katerina and Cathy put an emphasis on finding well-made and natural products with a stylish flair, hand-picking the best vintage pieces for the District’s shoppers.

These two fashionistas also have a responsible side, considering consumerism, the environment and the local economy whether they’re choosing which items to sell or running their business.
