For the 3rd year in a row BYT’s bright, young and gay hand BYGays partnered with Capital Pride to throw the official blow-out of the week. This time around (after Hirshhorn and Capital Hilton) we moved into NEWSEUM where the Somewhere… (over the rainbow) theme was put in full effect for what was DC’s largest ever nighttime pride party:
- rainbow jumbotron (all animations courtesy of our graphics genius Erik Loften – watch it here!)
- light up rainbow bars in the elevators
- glowstick rainbows
- Sherell Rowe as Rainbow brite
- all of you beautiful rainbow inspired people
- and more
