If you’ve never been to Morton Fine Art, it’s definitely worth a visit. The art is great, the space is light and airy, founders Amy Morton and Lizzie Newton are incredibly friendly, and they even provide tasty snacks during art openings. MFA’s current show Debutantes & Feral Children showcases oil paintings and mixed media work by artist Laurel Hausler. Laurel’s work is inspired by literature, antiquity and the absurd and her new series explores the overlaps shared between refined debutantes and the feral child. The exhibit is on view at Morton Fine Art, located at 1781 Florida Ave NW, through October 14th.

Didn’t get a chance to make the event and so i would have liked to have seen more of the gallery, e.g. Hauslers work and less of candy displays and the same people…
