it is over. and we will miss you.

For over a decade Gold Leaf studios have been the go-to space for budding DC musicians, artists and everything in between. In fact, it could be a great game to run around DC and collect the oral history of the space/venue, especially Mike Abrams took it over in 1998: from Trans Am setting up shop there, to awesome shows by everyone from Devendra Banhart to NO AGE to !!! Now, in 2012,  the fabled 411 Eye street space is now going to be transformed into condos (shocker) and DC is rallying to see it off in style.

This past Saturday: Ra Ra Rasputin, White Life and Miyazaki performed the last show ever there. Kevin took some photos:
