This past weekend saw the launch of Fashion Delegate, yet another DC fashion blog attempting to shed light on the “secret” stylish life of the District, and the blending of style with politics. Local designers will be spotlighted, events covered, and so one and so forth. We wish them the best of luck, and even went to their party this past Saturday which was at Redskins’ Clinton Portis’ house in McLean (curiosity may have killed the cat but it is yet to even hurt BYT).

Jennifer Fisher and Portia Hood, of FD hosted the event, models sauntered around the pool (and the jacuzzi and the canopy outdoor beds) in outfits by FD’s Designer of the Month Tashia Senn and Ciroc cocktails flowed like water.

The crowd included all the usual suspects at events of this variety from Pamela’s punch to K Street Kate to Glamazon Diaries to reigning Miss Maryland (sash included) and SO MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS taking photos of women in perilously high heels (especially so close to water) I had to apologize to Kimberly for reducing her to a cliche.
