Many of these individuals seek protection in the US from being prosecuted, threatened, and in some cases jailed and tortured in their countries of origin. Ashlee's, current asylum seekers and legal experts will talk about the difficult process LGBTI asylum seekers face and the challenges they experience once in the US. Come find out what our community can do to help LGBTI asylum seekers in the DC Metro Area.
