Always raising the bar for DC’s art and social events, the latest Art Metamorphosis gala by Art Soiree spectacularly transformed the newly reopened Washington Harbor at the Georgetown Waterfront with a one night exhibit and party during which 26 artists painted murals on wooden construction site panels surrounding the harbor while several thousand guests watched and appreciated the live art making. Art Soiree produced the event in conjunction with the Washington Harbor, Nick’s Riverside Grille, Tony and Joe’s Seafood Place, MPR Realty and Roche Salon. Keep your eye out for future Metamorphosis events which transform DC’s underutilized spaces into art epicenters hosting events celebrating the art and culture of our Nation’s Capitol! Art Soiree returns to the Beacon Hotel Rooftop this Thursday the 21st for the next installment of their recurrent rooftop sunset parties called “All That Jazz”. At a bargain $10, the view alone is well worth the cover, and consider buying tickets online since they tend to sell out.
