We cannot adequately explain how incredibly 100% stoked we are to get our nerd/party/nerd-party on with National Geographic this Friday at our newest Local Tourist party (remember how fun the last one was?). There will be martial arts with glow sticks. There will be performance art. There will be food trucks. There will be a scavenger hunt in the NatGeo building. There will be giant hamster balls and magic and drinks and dancing and TED-style talks and rare footage of wildlife and everything incredible. Get yr wild on.
I’m especially excited for all the NatGeo exhibits open for perusal, including Titanic: 100 Year Obsession, Samurai: The Warrior Transformed, and Big Cats. Which really just got me to wondering this incredibly poignant question in today’s world of ADD: do big cats go just as crazy as house cats when it comes to laser pointers? The answer, of course, is shityeah they do. And, because the Internet is amazing, someone made a video and proved it.
