2. PRIDE PARTY! We know you’re excited to get on with the weekend, but before we get started hold your horses, our ponies. Since you’re our friends, we want to make sure you had the chance to grab tickets to our WildLife pride party next Friday with Capital Pride at the Howard Theatre.

Here’s the thing. It is going to sell out, and we want to make sure our friends are there. We’ll be joined by international superstar Amanda Lepore, JD Samson, Summer Camp, Big/Bright, DJ Natty Boom, DJ MAJR, Heidi Glüm, Pussy Noir, plus special guests we aren’t allowed to tell you about until that night. Make sure to grab your tickets now before they are all gone and you are a sad, little pony. This is a dance party like no other and we have lots of tricks and treats in our stable just for you.

THURSDAY

Capturing Fire 2012 (an international spoken word and poetry festival of queer-identified writers) will be happening all weekend. Tonight you can hit up the Opening Night Party at Busboys and Poets on 5th and K street NW. Then be sure to hit up slams occurring over the next couple days!

Run out of work, buy some booze, put it in plastic bottles, and then hustle over the the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden for Jazz in the Garden!
