FREE OUTDOOR DC Movie Guide – 2013
May 15, 2013 | 9:00AM

Don’t let frost warnings fool you, summer is right around the corner. There’s no better way to spend a warm evening with friends (or those you haven’t spoken to since Obama was reelected) than watching a favorite flick while sprawled out on a lawn. Places in D.C., Virginia and Maryland have all the theme nights you could ask for. Superheroes. Outlaw heros. Heroes that your parents said if you ever acted out their antics you’d be grounded for the rest of your life. (SAVE FERRIS). We’re still waiting for dates from a few DC regulars (Screen on the Green and U Street, hook us up), but we have the rest of the lineups laid out for you below. They’re broken down by day, and we’ll continue to add new festivals as they come along. So go ahead and dust off those foldable chairs, fleece blankets and Longaberger baskets. And please, silence your cellphone.
