• This weekend, Occupy D.C. is vacating McPherson Square–one of the longest-running occupation spaces in the country. There will be an official going-away ceremony, though details have yet to be determined. (via Washington Post)
• For those of us who keep losing and/or breaking our SmartTrip cards, Metro’s $1-a-trip  fare increase for paper cards is pretty obnoxious. However, if these slackers–self included–can get it together before the charge begins on July 1, up to $20 can now be transfered from a paper card to a SmartTrip, saving some dolla dolla billz.
