- Take a peek behind the scenes at Teddy Roosevelt’s house… (via Washingtonian)
- This weekend, Occupy D.C. is vacating McPherson Square–one of the longest-running occupation spaces in the country. There will be an official going-away ceremony, though details have yet to be determined. (via Washington Post)
- For those of us who keep losing and/or breaking our SmartTrip cards, Metro’s $1-a-trip fare increase for paper cards is pretty obnoxious. - A wedding ceremony while riding Metro? I really don’t get it, but apparently no one else does either. (via HuffPost DC)
- The Washington Examiner is just as gung-ho about fighting crime as ever, as indicated by their new Pinterest boards sporting nothing but photos and mugshots of D.C.-area fugitives. (via Washington City Paper)
- Whether you’re pro- or anti-”D.C. is technically The South,” here are some tips we could all use for bringing some southern gentility and etiquette into the District. (via Borderstan)
