Brandyn Diachenko – Artist
“I groove on the counter-cultural movement of the ’60s, when the term ‘hipster’ meant more than fixies and crazy mustaches. It was a wave of self-expression starting with wondrous musings of ideals and philosophies, manifesting into a plethora of various artistic endeavors. The clothes on your back became the walking expression of one’s truest self. A vast majority of my closet is full thanks to free boxes, ground scores, and even the occasional Goodwill/Savers/thrift store bargain. Anyone can create a completely new, ‘fresh’ vibe by pulling influences from all centuries, timelessness in the now, if you will.”
Nicole Aguirre – CEO of Worn Creative
“My style is based largely around pieces I’ve found traveling the world. The dress I am wearing is from Seoul. I’ve been told more than once when I wear it that I look like a character out of a Wes Anderson movie, and I take that as a compliment.”
David Vida Geovanny – Stylist
“I love to mix vintage clothing with the current trends, so my style is constantly changing. It usually goes from urban chic to grunge to even throwing on a pair of Louboutins and feeling dapper! I love playing with an array of looks and also do the same when styling. I never make my clients look like me but a more daring them. Fashion is to be played with, not feared in my opinion.”
Brooke Kao – Fashion Blogger/Graphic Designer
“My style has evolved a lot over the years. It used to be all about creating a mask and a persona, but now I just wear whatever makes me feel confident and matches my hair. I’ve never strayed away from pattern and color clashing, and I like the combination of breezy and pretty with a little bit of aggression and edge.”
Vanessa Romano – Traveler
“Growing up I genuinely adored my mother’s style. Always classic and chic, my mother had such a simple but stylish way of dressing. I also have an international background which has given me the opportunity to see fashion through the different cultures around the world. I ultimately choose my favorite styles and incorporate them into my own!” Love her accessories? Check them out at Via Gypset!
