THURSDAY
- we always like to kick the weekend off with a fine balance of arts and drinks-so stop by the Alliance Francaise’s Grande Soiree de Gala @ The Mexican Cultural Institute (the location is a little confusing, but the evening promises to be a delight)
- for fashion fans: Bethesda Row’s THE FRONT ROW weekend of activities (including Andy Cohen sightings, movie screenings and more) kicks off today.
- if you’re in the mood for a dinner you haven’t had yet: check out THE PIG, a brand spanking new restaurant which just opened on 14th street. Our first look with some truly delightful photos can be found here.
- and – another edition of ALL THINGS GOLD (this time with Le Castle Vania and Viceroy) hits U Street Music Hall. Always a fist pumping kind of a good time.
- then-BYT’s favorite dance party to pour champagne all over ourselves during (QUE SERA @ NAPOLEON) turns 2 years old. Go and celebrate with them.

FRIDAY

- the big news for today is that ARTOMATIC officially kicks off tonight. Starting at 6pm, over 1300 artists take over 11 floors of an empty building in Crystal City and chances are, you probably want to be there to check it out.
- for theatre lovers: HUM just opened @ Theatre Alliance and the best word to use to describe this would be: intriquing.

- the #1 thing we want you to do today is go to SOUNDBITES, the awesome food+music+drinks benefit for DC Central Kitchen over @ 930 club. $40 gets you a TON of amazing food, performances by ESL bands, a chance to hang out with me and Spike Mendelsohn while we drink our way through the mixology contest (this last part may not be as much of a selling point as the ones above it) + a chance to support a truly great non-profit. SERIOUSLY-GO.
