DAWES are having quite the touring season.  After a jaunt with Bright Eyes and M.Ward, they’ll be back in DC area this weekend supporting Allison Krauss @ Wolf Trap on Sunday, and they JUST announced a co-headlining fall tour with Blitzen Trapper (with our old friends Smoke Fairies will also be along for the ride on the first half of the tour, and Belle Brigade will take over for the second), and will be @ Black Cat in October (presale starts tomorrow on (here and here). On top of that, the two bands just released a joint EP with 3 songs each, which you can grab below, and venture into the weekend with some solid gold neo-country folk jams under your belt.
