New York City
Vir Das @ DC Improv
Vir Das is getting to be a household name in a country with one-sixth of the world’s households. Thanks to movie roles, stand-up performances, and non-stop hustle, he has become one of India’s most popular comedians, and his reach is spreading around the globe. The DC Improv will be a part of his second
. tour – these shows are your chance to see an international star who is definitely on the rise. NOTE: A limited number of $15 student tickets are available for each show.
Craig Robinson @ DC Improv
Craig started out as a Chicago public school teacher. Now he’s teaching the world how to enjoy life. He’s famous for his movie and television roles, including star turns in “The Office,” “This is the End,” “Hot Tub Time Machine” and his very own “Mr. Robinson.” And he also puts on one hell of a live show, often mixing stand-up and music to produce an endless supply of good times.
Ms. Pat @ DC Improv
A rough-and-tumble childhood in Atlanta saw Ms. Pat dealing drugs and having two children before she was 16. She spent her 20s raising six kids (including four of her sister’s) and scraping to get by. But the amazing stories she collected in those years became the foundation for her honest and hilarious comedy routines. Since trying her first open mic in 2003, she has never slowed down. Pat is a favorite guest on all the biggest comedy podcasts, and in 2015 she appeared on “Last Comic Standing” and “This Is Not Happening.”
Christian Finnegan @ DC Improv
Christian is a pioneer of the “talking head” show, a sitcom actor, a Twitter all-star and one of our favorite stand-ups. (He even recorded an album right here at the club.) He puts on a sharp, original show. And we promise you, that show is a far better gift for Valentine’s weekend than whatever you were originally planning. Jewelry eventually gets pawned to cover gambling debts, but memories of a comedy show last forever.
